Wilson Combat Protector® Professional

The prize is the actual pistol that was evaluated and tested by John Johnston of Ballistic Radio

Congratulations to Michael L. from Philadelphia, PA.
Michael had ticket # 110841, and is the lucky winner of the Wilson Combat Protector®.

Guns for a Cause is honored to announce that Wilson Combat has selected us to host their latest gun giveaway. Bill Wilson and Wilson Combat have generously selected our website to hold this free raffle for a Protector® Professional pistol in order to help bring awareness to our mission: We believe that every member of the firearms community has the opportunity to make a positive impact on society.

Since the 1980s, when Bill Wilson was building individual competition pieces on his workbench, Wilson Combat name has been synonymous with quality. Today, a staff of skilled gunsmiths work to produce guns that are highly sought after for their quality, reliability, and durability. It doesn’t matter whether you desire to compete, defend yourself and your family, or patrol the streets to keep society safe, Wilson Combat has a firearm for your needs.

This particular pistol was extensively tested by John Johnston of Ballistic Radio. In his own words:

The Wilson Combat 1911 Protector Professional is the finest “Commander size” 1911 I have had the pleasure of shooting. In addition to having outstanding features and being incredibly easy to shoot well, it was amazingly reliable. It went 4,500 rounds without maintenance of any sort before experiencing its first malfunction, a feat some modern service pistols would find difficult to reproduce.

Guns For A Cause couldn’t conduct this event without the generous support of Wilson Combat and the great folks at Ballistic Radio. This amazing gun was put through the ringer by John Johnston, owner and host of Ballsticradio.com, to show how accurate, reliable and easy a 9mm 1911 is to shoot! Johnston is dedicated to teaching the public about owning, caring for, and responsibly using their firearms. He assesses the limits of various firearms in real life situations, testing elements such as weather and environment to see if the weapons live up to their hype. After thousands of rounds of ammo and multiple tests, he concluded the WC 1911 is a serious performer!
